FALL END OF SEASON TOURNAMENT

 

Fall End of Season Tournament: November 9th - 12th

November 9th at 5pm, November 10th at 5pm, November 11th at 9am, November 12th at 12pm

Best of three sets with the third set being a 10 point tie breaker.

Doubles teams will be randomly drawn

Single elimination brackets

Consolation match if you elect to play will be set as mixed doubles teams

LEARN, PRACTICE & PLAY

Three Sessions

I. May 8 - June 12 no tennis on May 29
II. June 19 - July 24 (no tennis 7/3)
III. Sept 11 - Oct 9 - Register HERE- Deadline Sept. 10

 

Fee: $50 per participant

Location: George Washington High School Courts

These five-week programs, conducted one hour per week, implement the games-based approach to teaching
tennis as well as modified courts and equipment as needed, and are a fast and fun way to learn tennis and/or
improve your game. Programs are available from ages 4 to 94+ and from beginner to intermediate skill levels.
The programs are held outdoors from mid-April through mid-October, and indoors from mid-November through
mid-March. The atmosphere is informal, with emphasis on fun, fitness, and play.  Free loaner racquets are
available. Program size is limited.

  • Pee Wees (recommended ages 4–6) - Mondays @5:15 pm - 6:00 pm

  • Little Aces (recommended ages 7–10) - Mondays @6:00 pm - 7:00 pm 

  • Juniors (recommended ages 11–14) - Tuesdays @5:30 pm - 6:30pm

  • Teens (recommended ages 14-19) - Tuesdays @6:30pm - 7:30pm

  • Adult (recommended ages 20+) - Tuesdays @7:30pm - 8:30pm

ADULT TEAM TENNIS

Session I : May 11 - June 29
Session II : July 13 - August 31

Location: Stratford Tennis Club

This fun competitive league is Co-ed and for playing levels from intermediate to advance. This league offers a

great way for all levels and abilities to play in a flexible and fun format. This 8-week season will be played at

Stratford Tennis Club on Thursday Nights at 6:00pm-8:00pm and will finish with an all player championship.

BOYS AND GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE

 

Spring Session: Feb 12 - March 26
Summer Session: June 1 - August 3

Fee: $30 per participant

Location: Bonner - Every Thursday (4:00 pm - 5:30 pm)


This program is designed to prepare athletes for the spring high school tennis season and to keep their
skills sharp all season long. Players will meet weekly for practice conducted by a SATA coach, which will
include 90 min of drills, cardio and play. Also we will compete against other private/public schools in the
area once a week until the high school regular season matches start. After the High School season is
completed we will restart Match play against other local schools.


This program will accommodate middle school, high school JV players and individuals not able to
compete on or don’t have a high school program. Intermediate Skill level is recommended and you
must be able to serve and keep score.

SUMMER BREAK CAMP

Summer Session I: June 12 - 16

Summer Session II: July 17 - 21

Fee: $80 per participant

​Location: Ballou Park Courts - Daily 9:00am - 12:00pm


What better way to spend your SUMMER Break but to learn a new skill.  This program is designed for ages 5 to 17 to be a fun and instructional camp for kids during their break.  We will introduce the sport of tennis to beginners and also work with all levels of players to continue to develop their tennis skills. We are also hoping to mix in a few special events and have a surprise visitor or two.

SATA HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

Dates: To be determined

Fee: $80 per participant

​Location: Bonner Middle School Courts

​

For Competitive Juniors.
The program will emphasize modern stroke mechanics and Match play strategy along with intensive
Drills and Strength and Conditioning. This program will also provide a pathway to USTA matches in the
region, Individual player Grants and USTA Camps. To be considered for these opportunities, a player
must be training and competing in tournaments year-round and also meet at least one of the following
requirements :( Ranked in the Top 300 USTA National; or Ranked in Top 20 in his/her section age category; or
Have an ITF ranking; or Have an ATP / WTA ranking).
